With the work of local designers featured across 30 rooms of a Mediterranean-style villa tucked below Coit Tower on Telegraph Hill, this year’s Decorator Showcase is a creative explosion filled with a riotous mix of unusual furnishings, fabulous art, and bursts of bright colors.
It’s the antithesis of the sea of sameness and muted colors that you’ll find in so many of today’s home decor shops and magazines.
This is the place to come get fun ideas for your own home.
Started in 1977, the Showcase is a fundraiser for San Francisco University High School.
This year’s house is at 298 Chestnut and will be open to the public through May 30.
Above you’ll find images from a few of the decorated rooms.
