We’ve had some odd weather this year — even more so than usual. Part of this winter was the warmest it’s been in three decades, and it was followed by a July that was even colder than it usually is. By now, we’re ready to see some sun.
Luckily, our own Indian Summer (though it’s not technically a proper example of the weather event) is next up on the calendar. A sort of artificial fifth season spanning the months of September and October, the warmer fall days here are generally accompanied by a selection of quirky parties, music festivals, and copious opportunities for enjoying the sun while our East Coast neighbors are bundling up.
